There is a time for everything. Things that worked before may not work now. It is the responsibility of any smart individual to engage in the proper actions when called for. The constitution was written a long time ago, right? We don’t travel on ships when we need to get from point A to point B unless it is the only mode of transportation. Seems like using common sense is a sin according to some people. Then some people will travel with one foot on one boat and another on another. Not a fast and efficient way to move, right? Well, I see that more among the Democrats than any other party. Changing colors like a chameleon is not a good strategy when it comes to smart humans. To them, it is a survival strategy. But what do you call humans who show the same traits? Democrats and some Republicans show ignorance when it comes to voter ID. What is wrong with that idea? Also, elections must be completed in one day, rather than dragging them out so they can manipulate them to their advantage. Anybody who has patriotic nerves in their system must loyally adhere to the principles of decency and dignity. Coming back to Birthright, it worked well until it looked like abuse. Have we not seen enough of that abuse? So the idea that we will have to follow the constitution that once worked well needs to be revisited when the situation calls for. The USA was gracious when it established USAID to help other countries that desperately needed outside help. Once that started, good intentions were abused by the recipients, and hence they needed to be stopped. Anything wrong with that? Who is against it and what are their motives? Are Malayalees really qualified to teach others about honesty and integrity? How often did you see government officers doing their jobs honestly? Back in India, to get a death certificate, I had to go to the panchayat office more than one time. The reasons given are laughable. So, fraudulent activities are not limited to the USA. Thanks to Elon Musk, a lot of such activities were brought to light. Medicaid is another area where fraud and abuse are very prevalent. I am sure most of us know someone getting Medicaid who doesn’t deserve it. No one can blame them for taking advantage of the existing system. Billions of dollars are wasted on such programs. Controlling those activities is the government's responsibility. Who would argue against it? America is probably the only country that has helped other countries that desperately needed outside help. I see a trend among some Malayalees of biting the hand that feeds them. Some people are blaming President Trump for everything that is happening inside and outside of this great nation. This human being has endured a lot ever since he showed up in the political arena. What is he guilty of? Trying to make America a better place? By the way, have you ever wondered whether the Supreme Court Justices are smart? They need to have a continuing education requirement at certain intervals.
