Young Researchers to Gather in California for the 4th International Research Conference for Children (IRCC 2026)

MILPITAS, CA : The Fourth International Research Conference for Children (IRCC’26) will take place on June 6–7, 2026, at the India Community Center, Milpitas, CA. Organized jointly by Global Young Researchers’ Academy (GYRA) and STEM4Girls and hosted by the Malayalee Association of Northern California (MANCA), IRCC’26 brings together young researchers at school level, educators, scientists, and families for a unique global celebration of scientific curiosity, innovation, and learning.

As the flagship conference of GYRA, IRCC has emerged as a unique  international platforms dedicated exclusively to school students ranging from elementary to high school. Over its previous three editions, IRCC has welcomed more than 2,000 participants from around the world and has created an ecosystem where young researchers can engage directly with accomplished scientists, researchers, educators, and industry professionals along with building their peer network.

This year  IRCC will feature more than 75 student research projects and over 200 participants representing a wide range of scientific interests and disciplines. In addition, a dedicated virtual session will showcase more than 30 presentations by GYRA scholars from countries around the world. The event will host more than 20+ distinguished scientists and experts, including 2012 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Prof. Brian Kobilka, providing students with an exceptional opportunity to interact with leading voices from the research community. In addition to research presentations and mentoring opportunities, the conference will include a special workshop titled “Supporting Individuals with Disabilities Across the Lifespan,” further expanding the event’s focus on education, inclusion, and societal impact.

Unlike traditional science fairs, IRCC emphasizes the complete research experience by encouraging students to learn directly from the inventors, think critically, ask meaningful questions, engage fruitful discussions, conduct investigations, and communicate their findings in a professional conference environment. The conference seeks to nurture scientific thinking, creativity, confidence, collaboration, and global citizenship among young learners while helping them understand how research can address real-world challenges.

The event also reflects the broader mission of GYRA to make research education accessible to school students worldwide through mentorship, interdisciplinary exploration, scientific methodology, and hands-on inquiry. By bringing student researchers and senior scientists onto the same platform, IRCC aims to inspire the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and changemakers.

IRCC’26 is powered by Lifology (www.lifology.us), recognized as “America’s Most Comprehensive Career & College Readiness Program for School Students.”

Parents, teachers, researchers, and members of the public interested in youth innovation and research are invited to attend and support the next generation of researchers and scientific leaders.
