ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക്:  മല്ലപ്പള്ളി ഈസ്റ്റ്  കോലമല  വീട്ടില്‍ പരേതനായ മാത്യു കെ  സാമുവേലിന്റെ ഭാര്യ കുഞ്ഞമ്മ മാത്യു (80) ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്കില്‍ അന്തരിച്ചു. ലോങ്ങ് ഐലന്‍ഡ് ഈസ്റ്റ് മെഡോയില്‍ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന പരേത ക്വീന്‍സ് സെന്റ് ജോണ്‍സ് മാര്‍ത്തോമ്മാ ഇടവകാംഗവും കുളനട മുണ്ടുതറയില്‍ കുടുംബാംഗവുമാണ്. 

ഷൈല, ഷിബു, ശോഭ എന്നിവര്‍ മക്കള്‍. സാം, മഞ്ജു, സാനു മരുമക്കള്‍.

Obituary of Kunjamma Mathew

Kunjamma was born on November 5, 1942 to late Mr. M. Idicheria Ghevarghese and Mrs. Annamma M. Ghevarghese Mundutharayil house, Manthuka, Pandalam, India. She was the only daughter of five children. She married Mathew K. Samuel from Mallappally, Kerala in 1965 and soon after moved to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. She later  migrated to the United States with her family in 1986 

Kunjamma lived a faithful and humble life, and was deeply committed to her religious beliefs. She was a remarkable woman whose presence had an impact on everyone she knew. Her unrelenting affection and devotion fostered an atmosphere of comfort that included her family and friends. She was a devout Christian and regularly went to St. John’s Marthoma Church, where she found comfort in prayer, worship, and community. She radiated compassion and empathy to assist those in need throughout the religious community.  

Kunjamma was taken away to our Heavenly Father on May 29, 2023. She is survived by her three children and their respective spouses: Shila Sam and her husband Sam George, Shibu Mathew and his wife Manju Mathew, and Shoba Sanu and her husband Sanu Mathew. She is also survived by her brother Mr. Joseph Ghevarghese and  her grandchildren Christian, Austin, Augusta, Calvin, Christa, Albert, Kevin and Liya. Each one possesses a piece of her spirit, serving as a constant reminder of her unending love and unwavering spirit.
