ഞാൻ തൊടുത്തു വിട്ടൊരമ്പ്,
വാനിലേക്ക് തൊടുത്തൊരമ്പ്, 
ഭൂമിയിലെവിടെയോ വീണു;
വീണതങ്ങെന്നറിയില്ലാർക്കും 
പാഞ്ഞു മറഞ്ഞത് അതിവേഗം  
പായാനായില്ലതിനൊത്താർക്കും  

ഞാനാലപിച്ചൊരു ഗാനം, 
വായുവിലൂടെങ്ങോപോയി   
ഭൂമിയിലെങ്ങോ  വീണു
വീണതങ്ങെന്നറിയില്ലാർക്കും     
ആർക്കാണല്ലേലിത്ര കാഴ്ച 
ഗാനം പോയാമാർഗ്ഗം കാണാൻ! 

നീണ്ടൊരുനാളിനു ശേഷം കണ്ടു 
ഞാൻ തൊടുത്തുവിട്ടാ അമ്പ് 
ഒരോക്കുമരത്തിൻ  കൊമ്പിൽ 
തറഞ്ഞു  നില്പതു കണ്ടു 
ഞാനന്നാലപിച്ചാഗാനം
ആരംഭംമുതൽ അവസാനംവരെ  
കണ്ടെൻസുഹൃത്തിൻ ഹൃത്തിൽ.
