ഓസ്റ്റിന്‍: ടെക്‌സസ് അതിര്‍ത്തി പ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ കഴിയുന്നവരുടെ ജീവനുപോലും ഭീഷിണിയുയര്‍ത്തുംവിധം അനിയന്ത്രിതമായ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി പ്രവാഹനം തടയുന്നതിന് അടിയന്തിരമായി ഫെഡറല്‍ എമര്‍ജന്‍സി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു ടെക്‌സസ് ഗവര്‍ണ്ണര്‍ ഗ്രേഗ് ഏബട്ട് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ബൈഡന് കത്തയച്ചു.
അതിര്‍ത്തി സുരക്ഷാ സേനക്കും, കുതിരപടയാളികള്‍ക്കും നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനാവാത്തവിധം ഹെയ്ത്തി അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥി പ്രവാഹം വന്‍ വര്‍ഡെ കൗണ്ടിയിലുള്ള ജനങ്ങളുടെ ജീവനും സ്വത്തിനും ഭീഷണിയുയര്‍ത്തുന്നുവെന്നും, കോവിഡ് ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള രോഗവ്യാപനത്തിന് ഇടയാക്കുന്നുവെന്നും ബൈഡന് അയച്ചകത്തില്‍ ഏബട്ട് ചൂണ്ടികാട്ടി.
ഡെല്‍ റിയൊബ്രിഡ്ജിനടിയില്‍ നിന്നും 6000ത്തില്‍പരം ഹേയ്ത്തി അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ളവരെ നീക്കം ചെയ്തതായി യു.എസ്. ഡിപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റ് ഓഫ് ഹോം ലാന്റ് സെക്യൂരിറ്റി സെക്രട്ടറി അലജാന്‍ഡ്രൊ മേയര്‍ക്കാസ് അറിയിച്ചു. 600 ഹോം സെക്യൂരിറ്റി ജീവനക്കാരെ ഇതിനായി പ്രത്യേകം നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് സെക്രട്ടറി ചൂണ്ടികാട്ടി.
ടെക്‌സസ്-മെക്‌സിക്കൊ അതിര്‍ത്തി പ്രശ്‌നം വളരെ ഗുരുതരമാണെന്ന് ബൈഡനും സമ്മതിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിയമവിരുദ്ധമായി പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നവരെ തിരിച്ചയയ്ക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള എല്ലാ നടപടികളും സ്വീകരിച്ചുവരുന്നതായി ബൈഡന് ഭരണകൂടം അറിയിച്ചു. അതേസമയം ടെക്‌സസ് അതിര്‍ത്തിയുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനായി 1.8 ബില്യണ്‍ ഡോളറിന്റെ അധിക ചിലവിനുള്ള ബില്‍ ഗവര്‍ണ്ണര്‍ ഗ്രേഗ് ഏബട്ട് അടിയന്തിരമായി ഒപ്പുവെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

You are wasting your time Mr. Governor. The president does not think there is a crisis. Take matters into your own hands. That is the only and fast way to find a solution. The white house secretary thinks these people are here for a "short stay". Are we not tired of hearing lies one after another? Please do the right thing with compassion Mr. Governor. People in Texas have a big heart. They will support you in your effort. Show the world that you have better and good judgement than the people in the white house. All they can say is oops, oops, oops. Get the message?

When a person is forced to lie to protect their boss, they will eventually take one of two decisions: 1. Resign from the job if their is any integrity left in that person. 2. Continue in their job hoping that they will not run out of stupid excuses.
It will be a miracle if we don't see a few resignations from the present administration in the coming months. Hint. (the following excuses may be used for resignations: Need to sleep, take care of the kids, buy groceries, tired of the long and ugly nose etc.)
