Edison : Desiwood Group is organizing a two-day film acting workshop in Edison in New Jersey. The workshop will start on Saturday, October 15 at 10 AM and ends at 5.00 PM of Sunday, October 16. This is a comprehensive acting workshop, designed for beginners and film enthusiasts like you to get a hands on experience of acting for camera. You will get a chance to work with professionals from the film industry from New Jersey and work with professional cameras.
                
The organizers of this workshop will be auditioning for a film by October end .... so opportunities available ...but not guaranteed !  In addition to making them better actors, participants are also sent for auditions post-workshop and can also take part in the film planned in December 2011 by Desiwood.
               
Cost: $ 50 for 2 days session ( registration before October 12th October). $75 Spot registration. (Lunch provided). The location of this workshop will be 2 Kilmer Road. Suite C, Edison, NJ

The 2 day course covers:

 Basics of cinema, acting, and emotions.
 Techniques to control your body language and posture.
 Various breathing exercises that help increase your voice quality
and diction.
 How to incorporate the particulars of speech into each scene.

 How to perform scenes with more co- actors.
 Make-up and dress style tips, to enhance a character with the help
of right make-up clothes and accessories.
 Proper training to face an audition.
 How to perform monologues and deal with cold readings.
 How to get a perfect portfolio for your needs
