മൗണ്ടന്‍ വ്യൂ (കാലിഫോര്‍ണിയ): മൗണ്ടന്‍ വ്യൂ ബൈ ഓക്‌സ്ട്രീറ്റിന്‍ വാടകക്ക് നല്‍കിയിരുന്ന അപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റില്‍ നിന്നും വാടകക്കാരെ ബലമായി ഒഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് മറ്റ് നാല് പുരുഷ സഹായികളുമായി എത്തിയ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ അമേരിക്കന്‍ വ്യവസായിയും, റിയല്‍ എസ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഇന്‍വെസ്റ്ററും, റീഷാ കാപ്പിറ്റലിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകയുമായ റീനു സെയ്‌നിയെ പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
സണ്ണിവെയ്‌ലില്‍ താമസിക്കുന്ന റീനു നാല് പേരുമൊത്ത് അപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റില്‍ എത്തിച്ചേരുകയും അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന രണ്ട് കുട്ടികളും, മാതാപിതാക്കളും ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന കുടുംബത്തോട് ഉടനെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകുകയോ, വാടക കുടിശ്ശിക ഏല്‍പ്പിക്കുകയോ വേണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
തുടര്‍ന്ന് വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള വൈദ്യുതി ബന്ധം വിച്ഛേദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു ഇവരെ കണ്ടയുടെ വാതില്‍ അടച്ച കുടുംബങ്ങളെ മുന്‍വശത്തെ വാതില്‍ കുത്തി തുറന്ന് പുറത്താക്കുന്നതിനും ഇവര്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു. ഇതിനിടയില്‍ പുറകിലൂടെ നാല് പേരും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു പോലീസിനെ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചു പോലീസ് എത്തിച്ചേര്‍ന്നപ്പോള്‍ വീടിന് മുമ്പില്‍ നിന്നിരുന്ന റീനു ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള അഞ്ചു പേരേയും കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തി. സെയ്‌നിക്കെതിരെ, മോഷണശ്രമം, കുറ്റ കൃത്യം നടത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള ഗൂഡാലോചന, അപ്പാര്‍ട്ട്‌മെന്റിലേക്കുള്ള വൈദ്യുതി അനധികൃതമായി തടയല്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ കുറ്റങ്ങളാണ് ചാര്‍ജ്ജ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്. സെയ്‌നി എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത്തരം അധിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആളുകളെ വാടകക്കെടുത്തതെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല, പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത ഇവരെ സാന്റാ ക്ലാര കൗണ്ടി ജയിലില്‍ അടച്ചു. 75000 ജാമ്യ സംഖ്യ നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

A mafia landlord?
As per Santa Clara county Law: she has to seek the help of Police to evict. She took the law into her own hands like Mafia style. Her rotten scheme to evict backfired horribly. The couple with 2 kids moved in 2 weeks ago with an agreement of $4000/month. Reenu claimed the agreement was for $10000/month. The dispute was handled by a city appointed mediator. She had no patience to wait for the mediator. Now she faces multiple criminal charges. it takes 3-7 weeks to evict a tenant legally in Santa Clara County. The tenant in this case thought the agreement was $3,900 month-to-month. The adv. Says 395/day for 2 story house & one next to is for $3295/month. Saine is not the landlord, she leased it from Connecticut owners and was renting it out in Air Nib, & Hotels.com. Saine claimed the rent was $10,000 per month. She was renting out daily to escape from rent control, but short term rentals is limited to maximum 60 days/year in Mountain view. She has to face charges on this too & is exposing lot of new problems for her. in addition to bail Saine has to surrender her passport and check in if released. she is wanted on a $20,000 warrant out of San Mateo County for failing to appear for trial in a vandalism case. She lists herself as operating a CA LLC she named Reesha Capital, LLC. Registered in 2016. She has another businesses called WHITE LINEN showing 11 apts for rent - 6 in Mountain View. If she is not a property manager; she is sub-leasing them; that is more problems for her. her business- Reesha Capital, LLC is 1333 Gough Street, Unit 5B in San Francisco which appears to be a large apt complex. This situation is exposing a lot of problems.
Saine is being sued in San Francisco Superior Court (Case No. CGC18-567682) by Canon Investment Group. LLC represented by a Sonoma attorney named Richard Jay Idell. Saine is the defendant along with her "Reesha Capital. LLC." Her first name is listed as Shakuntla { may be Aunt or Mother in San Francisco}- not Reenu. Also saine is named as a defendant in the case "Ira Service Trust." She had attorneys but the judge granted their motion to withdraw on August 1, 2019. She cannot legally represent her LLC in regular (not small claims) court. So, she will be looking for a new lawyer to defend in the case. I have not yet looked at the filings to see what the civil case is. Any Malayalee Lawyers interested.
Well, searching reveals that Shakuntla is a different person from this landlord aged 76. Saine is age 50 { Aug 1st 1969}. It appears she invested funds held in IRA or some other ventures and so IRA Trustee is getting sued along with her as a co-investor. This is an interesting bowl of spaghetti. Pick any strand and you don't know what will come out along with it when pulled.
