നാള്‍മുതല്‍ പ്രവാസികളുടെ സ്വത്തു സംരക്ഷണം സംബന്ധിച്ചു ഫൊക്കാന
അദ്ദേഹവുമായി ആശയവിനിമയം നടത്തി വരികയാണ് . അതിന്റെ തുടര്‍ച്ച എന്ന
നിലയില്‍ ഫൊക്കാന പ്രസിഡന്റ് തമ്പി ചാക്കോ, മാധ്യമ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകന്‍ രജി
ലൂക്കോസ് എന്നിവര്‍ പിണറായി വിജയനെ കാണുകയും നിവേദനം സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുകയും
ചെയ്ത്. അതോടൊപ്പം തന്നെ പ്രവാസികളുടെ വസ്തു വകകള്‍ അനധികൃതമായി
കയ്യടക്കിയ ചിലരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക് മുന്‍പില്‍
അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
അദ്ദേഹം അതെല്ലാം ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ കേള്‍ക്കുകയൂം കേരളാ പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണല്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന കാര്യം അടിയന്തിരമായി പരിഗണിക്കാമെന്നു ഉറപ്പു നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
അനുകൂലമായി കേരളാ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചതില്‍ സന്തോഷം ഉണ്ടന്ന് പ്രസിഡന്റ് തമ്പി ചാക്കോ പറഞ്ഞു. കേരളാ പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണല്‍ എന്ന ആശയം ഫോക്കനാ തന്നെയാണ് ആദ്യം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.
കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട ജീവിതസൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ തേടി എഴുപതുകളില്‍ അമേരിക്കയിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിയ കേരളീയര്‍ പലരും വാര്‍ദ്ധക്യത്തിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നു. ജോലിയില്‍ നിന്നും വിരമിച്ച് ഇരുനാടുകളിലുണ്ടമായി വിശ്രമജീവിതം നയിക്കാമെന്നോര്‍ത്തിരുന്ന പലരും നാട്ടിലുള്ള അവരുടെ സ്വത്തുക്കളെ താലോലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുനടന്ന അവസരത്തില്‍ നാട്ടിലുള്ള സ്വന്തക്കാര്‍ തന്നെ സ്വത്തുവകകള്‍ കൈയടക്കുന്ന കാഴ്ച്ചയാണ്.
ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ കേരളാ പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണല്‍ എന്ന ആശയത്തിലൂടെ ഫൊക്കാന ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് സ്വത്തു സംബന്ധമായ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളില്‍ അകപ്പെട്ട പ്രവാസികളെ ഫൊക്കാനയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുകയും പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണലുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവസരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകമാണ് .കേസുകള്‍ നടത്തുവാനും, അനുബന്ധമായ സഹായങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുവാനും പാലമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുവാന്‍ ഫൊക്കാന തയാറാമെന്നും സെക്രട്ടറി ഫിലിപ്പോസ് ഫിലിപ് അറിയിച്ചു.

ഈ അവസരത്തില്‍ കേരളാ പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണല്‍ എന്ന ആശയത്തിലൂടെ ഫൊക്കാന ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് സ്വത്തു സംബന്ധമായ പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളില്‍ അകപ്പെട്ട പ്രവാസികളെ ഫൊക്കാനയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ ഒന്നിപ്പിക്കുകയും പ്രവാസി ട്രിബുണലുമായി ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുവാനുള്ള അവസരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകമാണ് .കേസുകള്‍ നടത്തുവാനും, അനുബന്ധമായ സഹായങ്ങള്‍ നല്‍കുവാനും പാലമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുവാന്‍ ഫൊക്കാന തയാറാമെന്നും സെക്രട്ടറി ഫിലിപ്പോസ് ഫിലിപ് അറിയിച്ചു.
കൂട്ടായി ചര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്ത് ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ശാശ്വതമായ തീരുമാനം
എടുപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ കേരളാ, കേന്ദ്ര ഗവണ്‍മെന്റു കളില്‍ സമ്മര്‍ദ്ദം
ചെലുത്തുവാന്‍ കമ്മിറ്റി രൂപീകരിക്കാനും തീരുമാനിച്ചു
കഴിഞ്ഞ കലാങ്ങളിലേതു പോലെ വരും കലാങ്ങളിലും ഫൊക്കാന സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന്റെ പാതയില്‍ പ്രവാസികളുടെ ഏതു പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം നിലകൊള്ളും. സാമൂഹിക പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള പദ്ധതികള്‍ ആവിഷ്‌കരിക്കുന്നതില്‍ ഫൊക്കാനയ്ക്കുള്ള പങ്ക് എന്നും വളരെ വലുതാണ്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുമായി നടന്ന ചര്‍ച്ച ഒരു സംഘടനാ നിലയില്‍ പരിഹാരം നേടുക എന്നത് ഫൊക്കാന കടമയായി ഏറ്റുടുക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഫൊക്കാന ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ കലാങ്ങളിലേതു പോലെ വരും കലാങ്ങളിലും ഫൊക്കാന സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന്റെ പാതയില്‍ പ്രവാസികളുടെ ഏതു പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊപ്പം നിലകൊള്ളും. സാമൂഹിക പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള പദ്ധതികള്‍ ആവിഷ്‌കരിക്കുന്നതില്‍ ഫൊക്കാനയ്ക്കുള്ള പങ്ക് എന്നും വളരെ വലുതാണ്. മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുമായി നടന്ന ചര്‍ച്ച ഒരു സംഘടനാ നിലയില്‍ പരിഹാരം നേടുക എന്നത് ഫൊക്കാന കടമയായി ഏറ്റുടുക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഫൊക്കാന ഭാരവാഹികള്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.

The Kerala Government decided to establish NRI Commission in Kerala is the victory of Property Protection Movement. Property Protection Movement is hereby express our sincere thanks to all men who have taken pain to get this prestigious achievements.
Full name of the Property Protection Movement is PRAVASI MALAYALEES PROPERTY PROTECTION MOVEMENT (PMPPM) is global forum of pravasis.

Unfortunately we all are victim of Property encroachment.
The PMPPM is officially started by adopting a joint declaration, released flag and logo at Press Club, Trivandrum and the delegate signed the JOINT DECLARATION on 31st October 2012.
The members of PMPPM are seven federations and 3 associations namely, 1. World Malayalee Council Global (WMC), 2. Federation of Malayalee Associations of Americas (FOMAA), 3. Indian Pravasi Action Council (IPAC), 4. Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), 5. Gulf Arts and Leadership Academy (GAALA) Dubai, 6. Pravasee Property Protection Council (PPPC) Mumbai, 7. All India Malayalee Association (AIMA) Chennai, 8. Keraleeya Kendra Sanghatana (KKS)-Mumbai and 9. Pravasi Malayalee Welfare Association Indian (PMWAI) and after some time Federation of Kerala Association of North America (POKANA) joint the PMPPM.
The PMPPM started its social fight on 10.11.2012; leaders of movement Shri. George Sebastian, Shri. A.C. George, Shri. Saji Karimparoor and Issac Plappally conducted Press Conferences at Ernakulam Press Club followed by Vilambara Jadha from Ernakulam – Thrissur – Idukki – Kottayam -Alappuzha - Kollam – Trivandrum, then after an Indefinite hurger strike started on 15.11.2015. 18.01.2015 Night World Malayalee Council President Shri. Johny Kuruvila have given lemon juice to Shri. George Sebastian at Cliff House in front of our Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Oommen Chandy and ended the Indefinite Hurger Strike (Nirahara Satyagraham) and he promised us that he will consider the issue we are facing and directed the Law Secretary to contact us and do then needful. The constant follow up our leaders Shri. Johny Kuruvila, Global President WMC; Shri. Issac Pattariparambil John, Global Chairman WMC, therefore Government is announced the NRI Commission on the occasion of inauguration FOMAA Global Convention of FOMAA at Mascot Hotel Trivandrum on 01.08.2015.
Dear Friends, we have climbed only one step to success and hundreds steps are ahead to climb.
Our core issues are still unaddressed are under:-
1. Pass a Pravasi property Protection Bill in the Parliament.
2. Formation of a Pravasi Tribunal to try all cases on Pravasi Properties.
3. Setting up time limits for resolution of such cases.
4. Suspension of the rules of Adverse Possession
5. Compensation of the current replacement cost.
6. Make the decision of this Tribunal appealable only in Indian Supreme
Court.
7. Make a legislation to treat cases such as “Forgery, falsification of
deeds etc” for property transactions a criminal offense, apart from a
civil offense.
8. Redress of travel problems of gulf region.
9. Formation of a property Record Bureau in Kerala.
10. Every act of fabrications or forged gift deed shall be penalized under
both criminal and civil procedure of the Indian Union.
11. Incorporating Penal provisions against relatives claiming possession
and ownership of immovable properties of pravasees and people
staying away from their own properties.
