ചിക്കാഗൊ: ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളും, മുസ്ലീമുകളും ഒരു ദൈവത്തെയാണ് ആരാധിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് പരസ്യമായി പ്രസ്താവിച്ച വീറ്റണ്‍ ഇവാജലിക്കല്‍ ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ കോളേജ് പ്രൊഫസര്‍ അദ്ധ്യാപക വൃത്തിയില്‍ നിന്നും സ്വയം വിട പറഞ്ഞു.
ഇല്ലിനോയ്‌സ് വീറ്റന്‍ കോളേജിലെ പ്രൊഫസറുടെ വിവാദ പ്രസ്താവന ദേശീയതലത്തില്‍ വലിയ ചര്‍ച്ചാവിഷയമായിരുന്നു.
കോളേജ് വിശ്വാസത്തിന് ഘടകവിരുദ്ധമാണ് പ്രൊഫസറുടെ പ്രസ്താവന എന്ന് ആരോപിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞ ഡിസംബറില്‍ ഇവരെ ജോലിയില്‍ നിന്നും സസ്പെന്റ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
മുസ്ലീം യുവതികളോട് ഐക്യദാര്‍ഢ്യം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു തലയില്‍ സ്‌കാര്‍ഫ് ധരിച്ചു കോളേജില്‍ എത്തിയതും കോളേജ് അധികൃതരെ പ്രകോപിപ്പിച്ചു.
ഇസ്ലാമും ക്രിസ്റ്റ്യാനിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള ബന്ധത്തെ കുറിച്ചു നാം ആരാധിക്കുന്നത് ഒരു ദൈവത്തെയാണെന്ന് പോപ് ഫ്രാന്‍സിസിന്റെ വാചകങ്ങള്‍ ചൂണ്ടികാട്ടിയാണ് പ്രൊഫസര്‍ പ്രസ്താവന നടത്തിയത്.
കോളേജ് അധികൃതര്‍ പ്രൊഫസറെ പിരിച്ചു വിടുന്ന സ്ഥിതിയിലേക്ക് കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നീങ്ങിയത് വലിയ പ്രതിഷേധത്തിന് വഴി തെളിയിച്ചിരുന്നു.
എന്നാല്‍ പ്രൊഫസറും, മാനേജ്‌മെന്റും തമ്മിലുണ്ടാക്കിയ കാരാറിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഇവര്‍ കോളേജിലെ ജോലി സ്വയം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന് തയ്യാറായത്. കരാറിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥകള്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുവാന്‍ പ്രൊഫസറോ കോളേജ് അധികൃതരോ തയ്യാറായിട്ടില്ല.

Christianity and Islam originated from the Hebrew bible – old testament. Hebrews had several gods. They combined the theo- literature of the Israelite's and Judaism and tried to make the Hebrews that the new priestly god was their ancient god Elohim. But the Hebrews did not fall for the trick.
New testament writers adopted the priestly god and made him the father god.
Islam also adopted the Abrahamic god.
Pope - the infallible one proclaimed the same.
The action of the college founded on Christian faith once again proves their hypocrisy by kicking out the professor. Jesus’ teaching was about love but here the practice is just the opposite. Christians do not like Muslims and Muslims do not like Hindus and vice versa. Only humanly created Gods and their followers can behave like this. So I agree with Andrew, the God buster’s arguments that these are all tell tales.

പറയേണ്ടി വരുന്നത് , എല്ലാം ബ്രഹമമയം. ആൻഡ്രുസ്സും , മാത്തുള്ളയും അന്തപ്പനും അവരെ
അനുകൂലിക്കുന്നവരും അല്ലാത്തവരും ഒക്കെ
ദൈവങ്ങളാണ് , ഈശ്വരോ രക്ഷതു ...
God is a mystery. For centuries, God-realization has had several visionaries, prophets or sages who mus be revered. Science has not brought the whole truth about the multiverse. Therefore, let nobody s ego be shown challenging the Mystery. Even poet Milton said the ways of God cannot be questioned.
Mr Mathulla, though you say God is only One, we must also explain the Trinity of the Judaic- Christian God. In Islam, is there any Trinity ? In Hinduism , there are many gods and godesses. Therefore, if we discuss theological, metaphysical matters, we should be above and beyond this Female professor who invited trouble with that college Board. God is a Spirit, a Mysterious Form of Energy that can manifest in many mysterious manner. The Vedic Wisdom and the Biblical Wisdom are research-worthy for Seekers of Truth and social Justice.
God is only one; the difference is in the different levels of revelations in different religions. Trinity can be explained as Tom the person, his words or mind speaking as the sound that one hear. Your body is different and your spirit or soul is also different. Jesus is the word taking the shape of matter. Now, Hinduism had only one God to start with. Then corruption crept in to Hinduism and they started worshiping many gods and natural forces. If the same God can reveal to different people groups in different forms, why not the same God can appear as trinity to Christians and Allah to Muslims? Is not it stupidity to argue about it?
See how some pastors and preachers go wrong. In Judaism, the God, the Sprit, and a Saviour Messiah the conception did exist. They did not call Trinity of course. Then, Jehovah the God for some Jews had a female partner Ashera too , which was later banned. Ashera became the symbol of a healing mystery. Today, the medical symbol a staff and serphant., came from there.
