“The Star To The Stable”    

Wonderful is our Creator and wonderful are His Creations.
Things up in the sky and things down on earth,
He created them all not without a purpose.
He uses them all to serve His divine agenda.

Millions of stars appeared and disappeared;
Millions of stables were built and were demolished.
Left they behind nothing to cause them to be remembered.
But one ‘Star and one “Stable”   survived the test of millenniums.
Became they the symbols of a great event,
An event that marked the fulfillment of a promise and a prophesy,
A Savior was born in the tiny city of Bethlehem;
And Heaven named Him “Jesus”.

Caused He a Star to appear that night signaling the birth of the Son of God.

Prepared He a Stable for the new born King to be born.
The Wise Men saw the Star and read they the message it brought.
Set they off their journey seeking the new born King.
With great hope they came to Herod’s palace searching for the King of the Jews.

To their distress, found they not the new born King they were looking for.

Learned they from the palace the name of the city where the King should be born.

“In Bethlehem of Judah” as prophesied by the prophets. 
Left they the palace, but knew they not the road to their destination.
As they stood puzzled, the Star came to their rescue,
The very Star they saw in the east and caused them to travel this far.
Moved they along as the Star kept moving up in the sky.
The Star went before them till it came and stood over the “Stable”,
The Stable where the young Child was sleeping in a Manger.
.
Millenniums have come and millenniums have gone;
But wrinkled they not the memories the Star and the Stable left behind.

Became they signs for celebrating a “Humble Birth for a Noble Cause”.
“The Star to the Stable” is yet another name for Christmas,
For it was the Star that proclaimed the birth that night,
And it was in the Stable where the Savior was born.
Uniquely He created them and uniquely He connected them;
Uniquely they served a divine purpose.
   
 May this Christmas be a blessed time to share the story of “The Star to the Stable”.
