Agatha Christie's detective novel to get movie remake

Los Angeles, Dec 13 : The new big screen adaptation of author Agatha Christie's mystery book "Murder on the Orient Express" is in works.

The original film based on the novel of the same title was released in 1974, which got multiple Oscar nominations and helped Ingrid Bergman win Best Supporting Actress.

Hollywood's Fox studio got the movie rights of Christie's book with Ridley Scott, Mark Gordon and Simon Kinberg on-board as producers, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The story focuses on detective Hercule Poirot investigating the murder of a passenger on an outbound train from Istanbul.
