ഒരു വലിയ ശതമാനം, ട്രംപിന്വോട്ടുരേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ജനത വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ പലേ തിരിമറികളും കള്ളത്തരങ്ങളും നടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.ഇവരാരും നിരത്തുകളിൽ പരാതിയുമായിഎത്തുന്നില്ല എങ്കിലും ഇവരുടെ മറ്റുസംസാരങ്ങളിൽ ഇതിലുള്ള അസ്വസ്ഥത പ്രകടമാകുന്നു.

മാധ്യമങ്ങളിൽ വരുന്ന പലേ വാർത്തകളിലും ഇവർക്ക് വിശ്വാസമില്ല എന്നാൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിനു ശേഷം, തര്ക്കിവിഷയം ഉദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തുവന്നഏതാനും വിവരങ്ങൾ ഇവർ പഠനം നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

ഇവരുടെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ? ഒന്ന്, അമേരിക്കയിൽ ഒരു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിലും40 ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ വോട്ടു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തൽഈയൊരു യുഗത്തിൽനടന്നിട്ടില്ല പിന്നെ എന്തുകാരണത്താൽ പെൻസിൽവേനിയ, മിഷിഗൺ പോലുള്ള സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ ഏതാനും മേഖലകളിൽ 70ശതമാനത്തിലേറെ വോട്ടുകൾ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു അതിൽ 90ശതമാനവുംബൈടന്?

രണ്ട്, എന്തു കാരണത്താൽ ഏതാനും വോട്ടെണ്ണൽ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ ട്രംപിൻറ്റെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം വർദ്ധിച്ച സമയം മെഷിനുകൾ താനെ സ്‌തംഭനാവസ്ഥയിൽ എത്തി? പിന്നീട് മണിക്കൂറുകൾക്കുശേഷം പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ചു വോട്ടുകൾ ശീഘ്രഗതിയിൽ ബൈഡനിലേയ്ക്ക് നീങ്ങി?

മൂന്ന്, തപാൽ മാർഗ്ഗ വോട്ടുകൾ ഇവ എണ്ണുന്ന സമയം ഏതു കാരണത്താൽ പാർട്ടി നിരീക്ഷകരെ ദൂരെ മാറ്റിനിറുത്തി? തപാലാഫീസ്‌ മുദ്രയില്ലാത്ത നിരവധി വോട്ടുകൾ എണ്ണൽ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിഎന്നതിലും ഇവർ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.

ഈ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾ ചോദിക്കുന്നവരായും രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചൂടുപിടിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരല്ല നിഷ്‌പക്ഷരായി ജീവിക്കുന്ന സാധാരണ പൗരർ. ഇവരുടെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ചിന്ത തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു സമയം ഉണരും കഴിയുമ്പോൾ അടങ്ങുംആരു വിജയിച്ചാലും ഇവർക്ക് അതൊരു വിവാദവിഷയമല്ല തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു സംവിധാനത്തെ ഇവർ ഒരിക്കലും ചോദ്യo ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. എന്നാൽ അതല്ല ഇപ്പോൾ ഇവിടെ കാണുന്നത്.
ഇതുപോലുള്ളവരെ നിരാശപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത് അമേരിക്കയുടെ ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന് നല്ലതല്ല. ഇവർക്ക് ഈ കഴിഞ്ഞ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ ഒരു പരിപൂർണ്ണ വിശ്വാസം വരണമെങ്കിൽ പരമോന്നത കോടതി ഇടപെടേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

പരമോന്നത കോടതിവിധി ഏതു രീതിയിൽ വന്നാലും, അതു സ്വീകരിക്കുവാൻ ഇവർ തയ്യാർ.പരമോന്നത കോടതി ന്യായാധിപരും ഒരു ശൂന്യതയിൽ അല്ലല്ലോ ജീവിക്കുന്നത് അവരും വോട്ടു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയവർ, നടക്കുന്ന സംഭവങ്ങൾ വീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവർ.

എങ്ങിനെ ആയാലും ട്രംപ് അഭിപാഷകർ അവസാനമായി പരമോന്നത കോടതിയെ സമീപിക്കുംപരാതികളുമായിഎന്നത് തീർച്ച. വേറെ എങ്ങും ഇവർക്കു പോകുവാൻ മറ്റൊരിടമില്ല. അതാണല്ലോ2000ൽ നടന്ന തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിലും സംഭവിച്ചത്. സംവാദം അവസാനം പരമോന്നത കോടതി പടികളിലെത്തി.

ഈയൊരു തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു കൊണ്ട് പൊതുതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകൾ അവസാനിക്കുന്നില്ലല്ലോ. മുകളിൽ പറയുന്ന രീതികൾ നടപടികൾ നടക്കുന്നില്ല എങ്കിൽ ഈതിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു വെറും കടലാസുകളിൽ അവസാനിക്കും എന്നാൽ പൊതുജന മനസ്സിൽ നിന്നും മാഞ്ഞുപോകില്ല. ഇനിയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പുകൾ വരും ഇന്ന് അസംതൃപ്തരായി മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്നവർ അടുത്ത തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പു സമയം സ്വയം ചോദിക്കും എന്തിന് വോട്ടു ചെയ്യണം? കള്ളത്തരങ്ങളല്ലേ നടക്കുന്നത്?

In a democracy it is the will of the people that matters, not that of the Supreme court. The supreme court does not represent the will of the people. It is a nominated body of politicians according to their whims and fancies. That is why people refer to them 'Republican judge' and Democrat judge. When one suggests that let the Supreme Court decide the election, democracy is not in action. It is not rule by the millions of citizens. It is rule by the nominated few who can be digitally counted!
