“MY RISEN REDEEMER” (By: Philip Eapen)
Died He once to save you and me from eternal damnation.
Shed His precious blood to redeem the lost;
Became He a “propitiation” to cleanse us from our sins.
Paid He the price to free us from the bondage of sin.
Came He down leaving His glory in heaven to suffer and die.
He became poor to make us rich.

He healed the sick, fed the hungry and raised the dead.
For all His good works, He was rewarded with a Cross.
Sinned He not, but took He the punishment for the sins of humanity.
They nailed Him on the Cross and celebrated His death.

Knew they not they crucified the Son of God.
Laid His body in a borrowed tomb.
Secured the tomb with stone and men in watch.

It all happened as promised and prophesied.
Came He out of the tomb on the third day,
Claiming victory over Satan and death once and forever.

Earthily grave could not hold the body of the Son of God.
Like a lamb, He endured the Cross,
Like a lion, He came out of the tomb.
He has risen from the dead and He lives forever.

There is none like Him in heaven or on earth.
He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, worthy of glory and honor.
He is my “Risen Redeemer” and I will see Him face to face one day.

Have A Blessed Easter
