ന്യൂയോര്‍ക്ക്: പിന്നിട്ട 2019-ല്‍ ആഗോളതലത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്‍ മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത് ഭ്രൂണഹത്യയിലൂടെയാണെന്നു ജനുവരി ആദ്യം പുറത്തുവിട്ട വേള്‍ഡ് മീറ്റേഴ്‌സ് സര്‍വ്വെയില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നു. ഭൂമിയില്‍ ജനിക്കേണ്ട 42 മില്യന്‍ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേയാണ് ഭ്രൂണഹത്യയിലൂടെ ഇല്ലായ്മ ചെയ്തത്.
അമേരിക്കയിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതലുള്ള 31 സിറ്റികളിലെ ആകെ എണ്ണത്തിനനുസൃതമായാണ് ലോകത്തില്‍ ആകെ നടന്ന ഭ്രൂണഹത്യകളുടെ എണ്ണമെന്ന് വേള്‍ഡ് പോപ്പുലേഷന്‍ റിവ്യൂവില്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ച യു.എസ് സെന്‍സ് ഡേറ്റയില്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ലഭ്യമായ സ്ഥിതിവിവരക്കണക്കുകള്‍ അനുസരിച്ച് ആഗോള തലത്തില്‍ കാന്‍സര്‍ ബാധിച്ച് മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം 8.2 മില്യനും, പുകവലി മൂലം മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം 5 മില്യനും, മറ്റു പല കാരണങ്ങളാല്‍ മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം 13 മില്യനും, എച്ച്.ഐ.വി/ എയ്ഡ്‌സ് മൂലം മരിച്ചവരുടെ എണ്ണം 1.7 മില്യനും ഉള്‍പ്പടെ ആകെ 27.9 മില്യന്‍ മരണങ്ങളാണ് സംഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് സര്‍വ്വെയില്‍ പറയുന്നു. വാര്‍ദ്ധക്യസഹജമായ രോഗംമൂലവും, കുറ്റകൃത്യങ്ങളില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരും കൂടി 58.6 മില്യന്‍ മരണവും സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതായി വേള്‍ഡ് മീറ്റേഴ്‌സ് ഡേറ്റയില്‍ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഭ്രൂണഹത്യയ്‌ക്കെതിരേ ശക്തമായ നിലപാടുകള്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളില്‍ അമേരിക്കയ്ക്ക് പ്രമുഖ സ്ഥാനമാണ് വേള്‍ഡ് ഹെല്‍ത്ത് ഓര്‍ഗനൈസേഷന്‍ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് 40 -50 മില്യന്‍ ഭ്രൂണഹത്യ വര്‍ഷവും, ശരാശരി ദിവസത്തോടും 12500 ഭ്രൂണഹത്യയും നടക്കുന്നതായി കണക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

The hypocrisy of President and his supporters (especially Evangelical Churches)
Lieff Cabraser is investigating reports of widespread child abuse in evangelical churches, Southern Baptist churches, and so-called Mega Churches. Nearly 400 Southern Baptist leaders, from youth pastors to top ministers, have pleaded guilty or been convicted of sex crimes against more than 700 victims since 1998, according to a recent investigation by The Houston Chronicle and The San Antonio Express-News. Superstar pastors like Bill Hybels and Andy Savage have been forced to resign over allegations of misconduct. The New York Times also published a recent expose on the “sexual abuse crisis” at Evangelical churches.
The John Jay report indicated that some 11,000 allegations had been made against 4,392 priests in the USA. This number constituted approximately 4% of the 110,000 priests who had served during the period covered by the survey (1950–2002).
Republican parties and their illiterate supporters must clean up their acts first before they talk about abortion. They don't have any moral authority to even report about it. Annamma must be very careful about Trump and his evangelical supporters. Especially, when Trump comes nearby. Tight pantyhose is good protection.
