The world renowned Business news Editor of Dubai based Khaleej Times has been unanimously elected as the Global Chairman of the World Malayalee Council, by the General Body of the delegates from different countries at its 8th biennial Conference held at its Head Quarters in Germany on May 5th.
Mr. JohnyKuruvilla of Muscat, well known business tycoon in Middle East, hasbeenre-elected as Global Presidentfor one more term.
Mr. Joseph Killian fromIndia is the Secretary General while Mr. Joseph Kainikara and Mr. Gregory Medayil of Germany are the Global VP-Administration and Global VP –Organization Development, respectively. Mr. Michael Stephen of Dubai is the Global VP of Finance. Dr. Sreedhar Kavil from USA is the Chairman of Advisory Board.
The General Body of WMC adopted amendments of Bylaws of WMC to include all non-profit organizations of Malayalees outside Kerala with voting rights to strengthen the voice of Pravasi Malayalee Communities all over the world.
