A Birth Beyond Human Intellect To Comprehend (Philip Eapen)

What an awesome God we worship, worthy of glory and honor.
There is none like Him on earth or in heaven for He is the King of kings.
Times He all events in the order they would happen.
Through prophets He speaks and in the fullness of time He fulfills them.
Because He loved the world, He promised He would send a Savior
To redeem the lost and give them eternal life.
Chose He Mary, a Virgin betrothed to Joseph, to conceive His Son.
Sent He down His messenger to Joseph to tell him:
“do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife,
For that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
“And she will bring forth a Son, you call His name “Jesus”
For He will save His people from their sins.”
Traveled Joseph with his pregnant wife Mary miles to the city of Bethlehem
To fulfill the prophesy on Bethlehem:
“But thou ‘Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands
Of Judah, yet out of thee shall come forth a ruler”.
In the fullness of time, Mary delivered her first born child whom they named “Jesus”.
And they laid Him in a manger wrapped Him in swaddling clothes.
The King of kings and the Lord of lords was born not in a palace, but in a stable.
No royal proclamation, no royal celebration at His birth.
Father God sent His messengers down to the earth to proclaim the good news:
“There is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord”
Chose He the socially outcast shepherds to receive the good news of the Savior’s birth.
Even Wise men were confused as they did not find the new born king in the palace.
This was “a birth beyond human intellect to comprehend.”
But for God Almighty, nothing is impossible.
