Mukal Babykutty, 66, of Danbury CT passed away October 21, 2015
during a visit to Kerala, India. He was born in Adoor, Kerala
on May 24th 1949.
Mr. Babykutty was an active member of his community and a devoted servant of the Malankara Catholic Church. As a founding member and the first secretary of the Delhi Malankara Association, he had a significant impact in establishing a foundation for the church to flourish.
In the U.S, he was the
secretary of the first Malankara Convention held in North
America. Mr. Babykutty was also the founding secretary of the Kerala Center
in Elmont, NY as well as a founding member and Election
Commissioner for the World Malayalee Council.
Mr. Babykutty is survived by his beloved wife Rosamma, his
two sons Thomson and George, his daughter Tripti, his son-in-law Johnson and
grandson Damien. He is also survived by two siblings and many nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday morning, October 26th
at the Malankara Catholic Church in Anandappally, Adoor, Kerala.
