Truth can be inconvenient, unpleasant and hurting.  And so is KV’s article.  It takes immense courage, holistic honesty, unflinching determination and ardent faith to stand up for a righteous but unpopular cause.  He has taken such a stand. 

What is politically expedient in the short-run can be very damaging in due course.  As the Good Book says, when leaders lack vision people perish.  Let’s hope, wish and pray that does not happen again for the annals of this church is clutter with such missteps.

കാലികമായ കർഷക പ്രശ്നത്തെ സമരത്തെ പിന്തുണച്ചുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആവേശകരമായ ഒരു കവിത. വളരെ ലളിതമായ വാക്കുകൾ ശൈലികൾ . അവരുടെ വിളവും, ഭൂമിയും സമ്പാദ്യവും വളരെ കൗശലപൂർവ്വം ഭരിക്കുന്ന പാർട്ടിയുടെ കുത്തകകൾക്ക് അടിയറവ് വെക്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ ബില്ലുകൾ. ഭരിക്കുന്ന പാർട്ടിയെ പേടിച്ച്, എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ, മാധ്യമങ്ങളുടെ വായ് മൂടിക്കെട്ടി അവർക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് പാവപ്പെട്ട കർഷകരെ പിന്തുണച്ച് എഴുതാൻ ശബ്ദിക്കാൻ അധികം എഴുത്തുകാരും മാധ്യമങ്ങളും ധൈര്യം കാണിക്കാറില്ല. ഏതായാലും ഇതെഴുതാൻ ഇത്രയും ശക്തമായ ഭാഷയിൽ എഴുതാൻ ധൈര്യം കാണിച്ച എഴുത്തുകാരനും അതുപോലെ പോലെ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കാൻ ധൈര്യം പ്രകടമാക്കിയ ഈ മലയാളി മാധ്യമത്തിനു നന്ദി. നന്ദി നന്ദി. ഇത്തരം സാമൂഹ്യപ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള, പാവങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി കർഷകർക്കുവേണ്ടി നമുക്ക് അന്നം തരുന്ന അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി എഴുതുന്ന കൃതികളാണ് ആവശ്യം. അല്ലാതെ പത്തിരുപത് ഫോട്ടോയും തള്ളിക്കേറ്റി, നാട്ടിലെയും ഇവിടത്തെ നേതാക്കന്മാരെ സിനിമാക്കാരെ പരസ്പരം പൊക്കി പാടിപ്പുകഴ്ത്തി എഴുതുന്നത് റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ അല്ല വേണ്ടത്.. ഞാൻ സത്യം പറയട്ടെ അത്തരം കൃതികൾ ഞാനും ഞാനറിയുന്ന ഒത്തിരി സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും ചുമ്മാ ഒന്ന് എത്തിനോക്കി തള്ളിക്കളയുകയാണ് പതിവ്. നല്ലത് വല്ലതും എഴുതുന്നവനെ പറയുന്നവനെ ഇടിച്ചു താഴ്ത്തുന്ന ആ പതിവ് കാണാറുണ്ട്. ഒരു ഒരുവമ്പനും കീഴ്പ്പെടാതെ അതെ ഈ ഇത്തരം കൃതികൾകൾ പോരട്ടെ ഞങ്ങൾ വായിക്കാം സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യാം.
