മതങ്ങളും ലൈംഗികതയും..

“കത്തോലിക്കാവൈദികന്‍ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെപ്പറ്റി ‘അയാള്‍ അസന്മാര്ഗി (immoral) ആണെന്നു’ പറയുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ ശ്രോതാക്കള്ക്കു തീര്ച്ചയാക്കാം – അയാള്‍ എന്തോ ലൈംഗികകുറ്റം ചെയ്തുവെന്ന്. കാരണം ‘മൊറാലിറ്റി’ മുഴുവന്‍ അവര്‍ ഒരൊറ്റ കുടുക്കയിലാക്കി ഗുഹ്യസ്ഥാനത്തു തൂക്കിയിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്! കുറുക്കന്റെ കണ്ണ് കോഴിക്കൂട്ടില്‍; കത്തനാരുടെ കണ്ണ് ഗുഹ്യക്കുടുക്കയില്‍. ഹീനമായവിധം അപവാദങ്ങള്‍ പരത്തി ആത്മഹത്യയ്ക്കു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലും ‘ഇമ്മോറല്‍’ അല്ല!

ഫാ ജെയിംസ്‌ ഗുരുദാസ് എന്ന കര്‍മ്മലീത്താ വൈദികന്‍ തന്റെ 'മോചനകാഹളം" എന്ന കവിതാസമാഹാരത്തിനു വേണ്ടി എഴുതിയ ആമുഖത്തില്‍ നിന്നാണ് മുകളില്‍ കുറിച്ചത് ഉദ്ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ഇന്നലെ ബിബിസിയില്‍ കണ്ട ഡോകുമെന്ററിയില്‍ ഹെന്റി എട്ടാമന്റെ കാലത്ത് ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ സന്ന്യാസാശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ (Monastery) ഇല്ലാതാക്കിയതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഗ്ലോസ്റ്റര്‍ഷയറിലെ Hailes Abbey എന്ന Catholic Monastery-യെക്കുറിച്ച് പരാമര്‍ശിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു.

Hailes Abbey ഒരു വന്‍ തീര്‍ഥാടനകേന്ദ്രമായിരുന്നു. അത് തീര്‍ഥാടനകേന്ദ്രമാകാന്‍ കാരണം അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന യേശുവിന്റെ രക്തമായിരുന്നു. കുരിശുമരണസമയത്ത് യേശുവിന്റെ ദേഹത്തുനിന്നും വീണ രക്തത്തിന്റെ ഏതാനും തുള്ളികള്‍ വളരെ ഭദ്രമായി അവിടെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നായിരുന്നു പറഞ്ഞുപരത്തിയിരുന്നത്. തീര്‍ഥാടകര്‍ക്ക് ഇതില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ എന്താണ് വേണ്ടത്?

ആശ്രമം ഇടിച്ചുനിരത്തിയതിനു ശേഷം മേല്പറഞ്ഞ രക്തതുള്ളികള്‍ അന്ന് ലഭ്യമായിരുന്ന സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു പരിശോധിച്ചു. പരിശോധനാഫലം രസകരമാണ് - തേനില്‍ കുങ്കുമപ്പൊടി ചേര്‍ത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ദ്രാവകമായിരുന്നു അത്!

ഇത്തരം കൊടുംചതി മിക്ക മതങ്ങളും കാലാകാലങ്ങളായി ചെയ്തുവരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ, അവര്‍ക്കിതൊന്നും ഇമ്മോറലല്ല. പക്ഷെ, ഒരു യുവതിയും യുവാവും വിവാഹം കഴിക്കുന്നതിനു മുമ്പ് തൊട്ടുരുമ്മിയിരുന്നാല്‍ ആകാശം ഇടിഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്നു.

ക്രിസ്ത്യാനി ഒരു പടികൂടി മുന്നില്‍ പോയി - ആസക്തിയോടെ ഒരുവളെ നോക്കിയാല്‍ മതി - പാപമായി; കൊടുംപാപം.

ജന്തുലോകം നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നത് ആണിനും പെണ്ണിനും പരസ്പരം തോന്നുന്ന ആകര്ഷണത്തിലൂടെയാണ്. ആ ആകര്‍ഷണമാണ് അവരെ രമിക്കാന്‍ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ലൈംഗികവേഴ്ച ഏറ്റവും ആസ്വാദ്യകരമാക്കി പ്രകൃതി രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയതും വംശം നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടിയാണ്.

മനുഷ്യന്റെ കാര്യമെടുത്താല്‍ അവന്റെ പഞ്ചേന്ദ്രിയങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുപോലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടേരണ്ടു Human activity-കളെ ഉള്ളുവെന്നു കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കലും ലൈംഗികവേഴ്ചയും.

പക്ഷെ, പൌലോസ് സാറിന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തില്‍ "സ്ത്രീയെ സ്പര്‍ശിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയാണ് പുരുഷനു നല്ലത്!"

മാനവസംസ്ക്കാരവും സിവില്‍ നിയമങ്ങളും കാലത്തിനനുസരിച്ച് ഭേദഗതികള്‍ നടപ്പില്‍വരുത്തി. മതങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്നും അന്ധകാരയുഗത്തില്‍തന്നെ.

നാണക്കേടുകൊണ്ട് ഇപ്പോള്‍ പുറമേ പറയാറില്ലെങ്കിലും ക്രിസ്ത്യന്‍ പ്രബോധനങ്ങളനുസരിച്ച് സന്താനലബ്ദിയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടിയല്ലാത്ത ഏതൊരു ലൈംഗികബന്ധവും പാപമാണ്.

കാട്ടാളന്മാര്‍!

വിവരക്കേടുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഇത്തരം അസംബന്ധങ്ങള്‍ പുലമ്പുന്നതെന്ന് ആരെങ്കിലും ധരിച്ചാല്‍, അവര്‍ക്കു തെറ്റി. ഇതിന്റെ പിന്നില്‍ വളരെ കൃത്യമായ അജണ്ടകളുണ്ട്.

ഫ്രോയിഡ് ഒക്കെ ജനിക്കുന്നതിനും വളരെ മുമ്പേതന്നെ പുരോഹിതര്‍ മനശാസ്ത്രം നല്ലവണ്ണം മനസിലാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ജനങ്ങളുമായുള്ള നിരന്തരസമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയും അവരുടെ എല്ലാ രഹസ്യങ്ങളും മനസിലാക്കാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് സാധിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടുമാണ് അവര്‍ മനശാസ്ത്രവിദഗ്ദര്‍ ആയത്.

ലൈംഗികവികാരം എത്ര ശക്തമാണെന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് നന്നായി അറിയാം. അവിടെ കടുത്ത നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും അതൊന്നും അനുസരിക്കാനാവില്ല എന്നും അവര്‍ മനസിലാക്കി. യാതൊരു ദയയും മയവുമില്ലാതെ കടുകടുത്ത നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കി.

നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ പാലിക്കാന്‍ വയ്യാതെ ജനം കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. വളരെ ചുരുക്കംപേര്‍ അതിനെ അര്‍ഹിക്കുന്ന അവഗണനയോടെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു. കുറെപ്പേര്‍ക്ക് ഭ്രാന്തായി, അവരുടെ മാനസികനില തകര്‍ന്നു. സിംഹഭൂരിപക്ഷവും കുറ്റബോധത്തില്‍ നീറിനീറി ജീവിച്ചു.

ഭൂരിപക്ഷം അനുഭവിച്ച ആ കുറ്റബോധമാണ് പുരോഹിതവര്‍ഗത്തെ ആഡംബരജീവിതം നയിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിച്ചത്. കാരണം കുറ്റബോധം കുരയാനായി അവര്‍ പുരോഹിതര്‍ക്ക് ധനം നല്‍കി. അതോടെ പാപത്തിനു കുറെയൊക്കെ പരിഹാരമാകുമെന്ന് അവര്‍ പറയാതെ പറഞ്ഞു.

ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ കുറെയൊക്കെ യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യബോധമുണ്ടായിരുന്നത് ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിനായിരുന്നു. പക്ഷെ, ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ കോളണിവാഴ്ചയ്ക്കുശേഷം അവരും വിക്ടോറിയന്‍ സദാചാരം മാതൃകയാക്കി.

ഇതിന്റെയൊക്കെ പരിണിതഫലമാണ് ഇന്നു നാം കാണുന്ന സദാചാരപോലീസുകാര്‍.

മനുഷ്യനെ ലൈംഗികതയുടെ പേരില്‍ കുറ്റബോധത്തില്‍ നിലനിര്‍ത്തി, അവന് ലൈംഗികത നേരെചൊവ്വേ ആസ്വദിക്കാന്‍ വയ്യാത്തനിലയുണ്ടാക്കിയപ്പോഴും പുരോഹിതവര്‍ഗം ഇപ്പറഞ്ഞ സുഖമെല്ലാം ആസ്വദിച്ചുപോന്നു.

ബാലികാബാലന്മാരെ അവര്‍ ഇതിനായി പണ്ടുമുതലേ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുപോന്നു. ഇന്നു പുറത്തുവരുന്ന കഥകള്‍ മഞ്ഞുമലയുടെ ചെറിയൊരറ്റം മാത്രം.

ലൈംഗികവിഷയത്തില്‍ കാലാനുസൃതമായ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ വരുത്തിയാല്‍ മതങ്ങളുടെ നിലനില്‍പ്പ്‌ അപകടത്തിലാവും. അതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അവര്‍ അതിനു മുതിരുകയില്ല.

കാലഹരണപ്പെട്ട, മനുഷ്യപ്രകൃതിയ്ക്ക് ചേരാത്ത നിയമങ്ങള്‍ അടിച്ചേല്‍പിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന മതങ്ങളില്‍ എനിക്ക് താല്പര്യമില്ല.

വേണ്ട, എനിക്ക് മതങ്ങള്‍ തരുന്ന സുഖദുഃഖങ്ങള്‍ വേണ്ടേ വേണ്ട.
